Studienreise der Spanisch lernenden Schüler der Stufe 12 des Beruflichen Gymnasiums der Vogelsbergschule in Lauterbach. Wir wohnten während unserer Spanienreise im August 2011 in der Casa Rosaleda in Jerez, die uns den perfekten Rahmen für unsere Unternehmungen bot. Die Dachterrasse ermöglichte uns einen gemeinsamen Start in den Tag und einen gemeinsamen Tagesabschluss, dazwischen wurde sie von manchen besonders Sonnenhungrigen zum Sonnendeck umfunktioniert. Unsere Wohnungen waren gut ausgestattet, so dass die Selbstverpflegung kein Problem war. Die Lage ist perfekt, zu Fuss können die ganze Innenstadt, die Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Busbahnhof gut erreicht werden, in der gesamten Woche wurde uns nie langweilig: Pferde, Flamenco, Sherry, Tapas, Mauren, Playa, Palmen, Hitze, Mercado, Siesta. Und über allem liegt der gute alte spanische Flair, der in Touristenhochburgen nicht zu finden ist. Das Haus selbst ist schön renoviert, und man vergisst schnell, dass man offiziell noch in Europa ist. Anja und Tilo waren perfekte Gastgeber, wir fühlten uns schnell wie zu Besuch bei Freunden, und auch mit den anderen Gästen kam schnell das Gefühl guter Nachbarschaft auf. Durch die vielen Tipps hatten wir von Anfang an auch das Gefühl, dass wir hier tatsächlich wohnten und nicht nur als Touristen übernachteten. Wer das alte Andalusien sucht, wird es in Jerez noch finden, und wer authentisch wohnen will, wird in der Casa Rosaleda fündig werden. Danke, dass wir willkommen waren, die Fahrt wird uns allen in bester Erinnerung bleiben. 	64) Debora and Paco from Madrid enjoyed one week Jerez. Their apartment was 'El Portero'. July, August 2011.	Casa Rosaleda ha sido nuestro hogar durante una semana. En nuestro apartamento, El Portero, nos hemos sentido como en casa. Desde el primer día sus anfitriones nos han ofrecido pistas y sugerencias para disfrutar de lo mejor de Jerez y sus alrededores. El apartamento, en la planta baja, está perfectamente equipado para una pareja que solo tiene un ordenador para comerse el mundo. Mmmm. Desde luego que lo hemos saboreado. Y a pesar del calor de la calle, con un frescor dentro de casa (¡sin aire acondicionado!) que lo hacía todo más acogedor. Gracias por todo, Anja y Tilo. Volveremos en cuanto podamos. Debora y Paco.

La mejor semana que pasado en mucho tiempo -- un sitio muy tranquilo y muy bien ubicado. A tan solo dos calles del Flamenco barrio de Santiago. La casa y su gente son encantadores y ademas tiene un precioso jardin, donde se respira tranquilidad. Idoneo para estar con la familia. Sin duda volveremos -- Gracias a la Casa Rosaleda a Jerez y su gente.

	62) Javier and his family discovered Jerez for one week. The apartment was 'El Primero'. June 2011.	Muy bien situado, a solo 10 minutos a pie del centro historico y con aparcamiento facil. Cocina y salon muy amplios y agradable zona comun ajardinada. Aunque no disponen de TV, los propietarios facilitan WIFI gratuito. El trato es familiar y agradable, incluso te llevan a conocer la zona el primer dia. En resumen, una breve opcion si quieres conocer la zona y alojarte a un precio economico. I wanted a quiet and comfortable place to stay while researching and writing my book on sherry. Casa Rosaleda provides an ideal setting, with a beautiful garden, a peaceful environment and efficient Wi-Fi (a crucial element in my line of work). The location is superb, in the heart of the old part of the city, and surprisingly, parking is never a problem here. Best of all, Anja and Tilo are outstanding hosts, providing any help and information that you might need during your stay. They are warm and generous people, and their presence adds a feeling of community and camaraderie that makes life here even more pleasant. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making this a convenient location for those who don’t have a car, or for simply going out in the evenings without having to worry about driving home. For those interested in visiting wine producers, Bodegas Tradición, Urium, Fernando de Castilla, Almocadén, Valdivia, Sánchez Romate and Sandeman are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance, and it’s easy to walk to bodegas in the center as well, such as González Byass and El Maestro Sierra. I was here for a month, and it seemed all too short: Jerez is a fascinating and wonderful city, made all the more enjoyable by staying in a place that feels like home.

Für uns war die Wohnung El Caracol in der Casa Rosaleda ein Glückstreffer. Die tolle Wohnung in der Altstadt von Jerez war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für uns, um uns den Pferden von Jerez und Umgebung zu widmen und die ganze Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die tollen Tips von Tilo bei der Ankunft haben uns viel geholfen und mit der Bäckerei "Delicous Rosa" haben wir den Tag jeweils begonnen. Die Casa Rosaleda mit den freundlichen und unkomplizierten Vermietern können wir bestens empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Elegimos el apartamento 'La Madre' con acceso directo a un patio típico andaluz y una bonita teraza. El apartamento conserva la esencia de la casa antigua que fue; con sus techos altos, azulejos originales y vigas de madera. Tilo y Anja, los propietarios son personas cordiales y agradables. Recomendable para cualquier viajero que llegue a Jerez.

	58) Lou, Sophie and Marcus spent one week together in the apartment De la Madre. March 2011. Marcus is Spacecraft Operations Manager of ESA's X-ray Observatory XMM-Newton, and plays Sax and Keys at www.schwoof-kapelle.de and www.bcdb.de.	Ein wunderschönes mit Stil und historischem Einfühlvermögen restauriertes Haus in der Altstadt von Jerez. Wir haben es sehr genossen uns vom mitteleuropaeischen Altag zu erholen, Zeit zu haben und einfach nur für einander da zu sein. Das De la Madre mit seinem Kaminofen in der Wohnküche und den geräumigen Wohnverhältnissen war ideal fuer einen Papa mit zwei Krümelmonstermädels. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

See her website on: http://portlandflamencoevents.com	We had a wonderful stay in El Arco during the 2011 Jerez Flamenco Festival. Upon arrival Tilo provided us with a map of Jerez and explained where we could go to get food, etc. and how things worked at the apartment. It was so nice to stay in a place where the owners lived as well. Tilo is very friendly and loves to chat with guests, and he and Anja are ready to help whenever necessary. We really enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves and eat out in the lovely courtyard garden or up on the sun roof. And the location is fabulous, just around the corner from the Centro Andaluz de Flamenco and close to the center of town. We were able to get everywhere we needed to go by foot. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Jerez a nice one. Ole!

	56) Britta and Niels enjoyed one week of their holidays in our house. Apartment El Arco. February 2011.	The place has a soothing atmosphere. One sleeps well. There are no noise from the street and traffic. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and helpfull. The kitchen and the fridge are usefull. A good place. Best greetings from Niels and Britta. 	55) Nico was our neighbour for three months. He really succeeded in his flight trainings -- In the AFL test he was one of the best of the year. We are proud we had him here and wish him the best for his future as pilot. Apartments Al Frente , El Azul. September - December 2010.	Ich habe 3 Monate lang den praktischen Teil meiner ATPL Ausbildung in Jerez bei Flight Training Europe gemacht. In der Zeit habe ich bei Anja und Tilo gewohnt, die mir für die Zeit ein schönes und gemütliches zu Hause geboten haben. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Schließlich konnte ich meine Ausbildung auch noch erfolgreich abschließen.

	53) Hanne and Niels passed almost two quiet weeks in Casa Rosaleda. See apartments De la Madre and Las Estrellas. September, October 2010.	Vi har tilbragt 12 dejlige dage i Jerez,som er en meget charmerende by. Været på flamingo-museet og set videos,set live flamingo,de kongelige hestestalde, men ikke mindst nydt at gå rundt i den skønne gamle by, nydt tapas, vin og stemningen. Lejlighederne i casa rosaleda er perfekte, mest boede vi i la Madre, der er lys med direkte adgang til solterassen. Estrella har en helt fantastisk himmelseng fra Marocco. I det hele taget er indretningen både i lejlighederne og i patio og solterasse gjort smagfuldt og spændende. Værtsparret er yderst hjælpsomme og taler flydende engelsk, tysk, spansk og sikkert mere. Allerede i forbindelse med bookingen var de særdeles hjælpsomme, forklarede os hvilke betalingsmuligheder der var, gav kørevejledning mm. Vi løb ind i generalstrejken der lammede Spanien 29/9, dagen for vor hjemrejse, og Tilo hjalp os med ombbooking af vort fly, og der blev sørget for at vi kunne få yderligere 4 overnatninger. Vi har mange gange boet i korttidslejede lejligheder i Spanien, og det har altid irriteret os at det første man skulle gøre var at indkøbe olie, salt, opvaskemiddel o.l. Her var det hele der. Vi kan kun anbefale calle la Palma 4 i Jerez. Hanne og Niels

	52) Gene and Roland explored Jerez for one month. They stayed in the apartment El Primero . September 2010.	My partner and I take extended vacations of several months every year. In our travels we have stayed in every large city in Spain and this year was looking for someplace different. I wanted someplace quieter and more laid back than Madrid or Barcelona but still have plenty of activities available, day trips, good food, etc while maintaining the ambience we so love in Spain. While going through possible places I came across Jerez de la Frontera. It looked interesting and I began looking for available rentals. I came across the website for Casarosaleda, the apartments looked interesting and I emailed for availability and prices. Their prompt reply resulted in a reservation for the month of September. Upon arrival I was met by my smiling hostess Anja, who showed me to my apartment and then gave me a tour of the beautiful courtyard, gardens and sundeck. Then it was time to meet our ever happy ready to please host, Tilo. Tilo was totally prepared for an overview of Jerez to make your stay a success. Armed with a map and more information than the tourist office he began to tell you places to go, things to see, and other information you needed including a brief history on sherry and brandy. He also emphasized his availability and willingness to help in any way he could during your stay. This he proved on several occasions. Since all apartments open either onto the central courtyard or garden it was easy to meet other guest. In no time we had become part of a small group, meeting by accident in small bars and other events around Jerez. This led to late night cocktails on the way back to the apartment. Many times Anja and Tilo would be a part of these gatherings. With Tilo around the discussions were always spirited and a wide variety of subjects were discussed. Always thought provoking and thoroughly enjoyable. As time passed and new/old friends came and went the environment was ever changing, but will always be a memory. We have never had an acceptance issue in our travels and was proven again at a higher level during our stay at Casarosaleda. This was due to Tilo and Anja’s great respect for the rights of all people and their steadfast belief in these rights. We had a wonderful stay at Casarosaleda and look forward to being part of the ever spreading family once again.

	51) Norma and Hans Joergen stayed one week in Casa Rosaleda. They are Norwegians and live in Vienna. By the way 'ost' [ùst] is Norwegian and means 'cheese'. What happened is, when I said 'cheese' to provoke a smile, it converted into a 'ost'. August 2010, Al Frente.	Eine woche haben wir die ferienwohnung `Al Frente` bewohnt. Das ganze Haus hat ja ein andalucisches Flair, und dazu ist die Wohnung im andalucischen Stil romantisch ausgeschmückt. Man fühlt ab ersten Augenblick da, dass man in das wirkliche Spanien angekommen ist, und nicht irgendwo im irgendwelchen Hotelzimmer. Anja und Tilo haben sehr liebevoll um uns gekümmert, sie haben uns wertvolle Information über die Stadt und das Gegend gegeben, und dazu auch Kuriösitäten über das Leben in Andalucia erzählt. Wir haben sie als aufrichtig interessierte Menschen kennengelernt, und hätten gern mehr Zeit mit ihnen verbracht. Das Haus von Anja und Tilo liegt in einer der vielen charmierend engvernetzten, rustikalischen jerezaner Gassen. Alles was man braucht um zu leben (und um das Leben zu genießen), findet man in der nächsten Umgebung, und die Stadtkern ist zum Fuss gut erreichbar. Man fühlt die Persönlichkeit und die Echtheit der Nachbarschaft, des kleinen Lebensmittelgeschäfts, und der Leute. Wir haben uns in dieser herrlichen Umgebungen bei diesen herzlichen Leuten gut entspannen können, und hoffen auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen - mit Jerez , und mit Lion, Anja und Tilo.

More about Carla's flamenco centre in Köln: www.belladanza.de www.flamencarla.de	Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Casa Rosaleda zum Flamenco Festival! Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Theater, Tanzstudios und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch nette Bars für den Abend sind nicht weit! Die Betreuung von Tilo und Anja konnte nicht besser sein. Wenn man sie braucht waren sie da! Besonders die Tipps von Tilo direkt bei der Ankunft waren gold wert und haben uns direkt das spanische Leben schmackhaft gemacht. Außerdem konnte man den WIFI-Anschluss kostenfrei nutzen. Wie wir finden ein super Angebot und Service! Der Garten und der schöne Patio luden dann zum Abschluss noch zur Fotosession ein und bevor wir abgereist sind, haben wir noch eine Rundführung durch das komplette Haus bekommen. Das macht die Wahl für ein Wiederkommen nicht einfacher, aber umso schöner. Wir haben den Flamenco genossen, Jerez genossen und das Casa Rosaleda. Vielen Dank für eine unvergessliche Woche in Jerez!

	49) Becky and friends stayed for one week in Casa Rosaleda. August 2010 Al Frente.	We experienced a very enjoyable eight night stay in Jerez in calle palma 4. Our accomodation was well equipt and nicely presented. The owners Tilo and Anja provided excellent information and insight into the Jerez area and helped to make our trip action packed with their several suggestions about the top sights. They were also exceptionally friendly and accomodating, making our time relaxed and pleasant. Ideally this apartment would be best during the cooler months as there is no A/C. If you are looking for quaint spanish charm and lovely garden surroundings then this accomodation is perfect! We very much enjoyed our time and the central location of this apartment contributed to this. We would have no hesitation in recommending this facility to others and could not fault the lovely manner of the family who own this establishment.

	48) LA CORDE VOCALE, a canadian band from Quebec was looking 10 days for inspirationen in Jerez. July 2010, La Jardinera and El Centro. More about LA CORDE VOCALE on: www.myspace.com/lacordevocale	Where to start? The garden! Yes the garden. I was completely absorbed by the zen of this garden. What a peaceful place. Illuminated and cool. Every morning I would sit around a nice cup of coffee as I watched the sunlight pierce through the leaves of these tall mysterious plants. Lets not forget the WIFI! From here I skYped with my family and showed them around the casa. From the front door, through the lobby, into El Centro where i was staying comfortably with my girlfriend. I enjoyed the unique atmosphere of Jerez. Honest, polite, humble and welcoming. The moment you set a foot outside you can't help but spin around in circles to fully appreciate the decor. I was very well received by Tilo and Anja they made sure we always had what we needed. I enjoyed many great conversations with you Tilo maybe we will see each other again soon. 	47) Two days ago this 'Friends of the house'- entry from Sharon and Stephen reached us. They passed last November in our house, and by the way will come back this autumn. Apartment De la Madre. November 2009. Sharons Site: http://sharonfrost.typepad.com/	For the past half dozen years, we have been avoiding hot, oppressive New York summers by escaping to Buenos Aires, where July and August are winter months and where affordable apartment rentals are plentiful. For just as long, we’ve been looking for a similar situation in Spain—without success until last year. Apartments in the big cities—Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, and Valencia—are way too pricey, and cottages in the countryside, though more affordable, require an expensive rental car, at least for those of us coming from North America. Finally one day, surfing the web, we stumbled upon Casa Rosaleda. We came, spent a month, and immediately re-booked again for seven weeks next fall. For dedicated slow travelers, Casa Rosaleda offers the perfect place in perfect surroundings: comfortable, quiet, simple but elegant quarters in the casco historico of a friendly, low-keycity—one that is eminently walkable, with a dozen soulful bars and restaurants just far enough away to provide a bit of exercise, and live flamenco literally around the corner. Also worth noting is the proximity of several of Andalucia’s most compelling destinations: two great cities, Cadiz and Sevilla (each about an hour by train), and three picturesque smaller towns, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Arcos de la Frontera, and Medina Sidonia (each about half an hour by bus). All this would perhaps be less rewarding were it not for the personable and benevolent presence of the owners, Tilo and Anja, always in the background, but always available for advice and assistance.

	46) Anja and Floh enjoyed one week in apartment El Arco. March, April 2010.	Wir verbrachten eine super-sonnige Woche im El Arco während der Semana Santa in Jerez. Wir konnten die Stadt und Ihre Bewohner in einem absoluten Ausnahmezustand erleben. Einzigartig. 	45) Sally and Trev visited us two days, they stayed in De la Madre. March 2010.	We stayed in El Madre - and had a very restful time in a most comfortable bed in a really quiet first-floor apartment. I enjoyed the view over the plant-filled internal courtyard, taking my coffee and reading whilst relaxing in the sun. The walk to the town centre is literally only moments, and leads through some interesting areas of the old town. Jerez is a great place to stay and a real opportunity to taste the unique sherry wine that is made only in this tiny corner of Spain. Hosts Anja and Tilo couldn't be more helpful, full of information that helps the newcomer - locations of the internet cafe, the local supermarket, the best bodega, where the streetmarket takes place, where to find flamenco ... the list goes on. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Sally and Trev

View also his blog entry on http://blog.casarosaleda.com about Brandy de Jerez	Unser erster, aber bestimmt nicht letzter Besuch in dem Casa de Vencinos Rosaleda bei Anja, Tilo und Lion über Weihnachten und Silvester war mehr als wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Unsere Gastgeber ergänzen mit Ihrer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft das Flair des Hauses und der gesamten Stadt. Die Mithilfe bei kniffligen Angelegenheiten, die Bereitschaft uns als Gäste zum Einkauf oder zum Ausflug an die See spontan mitzu- nehmen war eine äußerst herzliche Bereicherung unserer 2 Wochen im El Arco. So entstand auch der Wunsch Tilo’s einen Blog über eines der großartigsten Getränke überhaupt, dem „Brandy de Jerez“ durch mich als Kenner und Sammler auf dieser Seite zu schreiben. Diesem Wunsch werde ich natürlich gerne nachkommen. Macht weiter so, wir werden bald wieder kommen……..

	42) Reinhart, Sayda und Gabriel passed their vacations with us. Apartment De la Madre , September 2009.	Knappe zwei entspannende Wochen in der gastlichen Casa de Vecinos Rosaleda liegen hinter uns. Wohnen in authentischem, stilvollem Ambiente, mitten in der historischen Altstadt von Jeréz - so muss es sich zur Kolonialzeit hier gelebt haben - nur natürlich bei Weitem nicht so bequem und gepflegt wie im"de la Madre". Bestens zu empfehlen für jeden, der auch aus dem "Urlaubsalltag" mal aussteigen, sterile Hotelatmosphäre meiden und Spanien wirklich durch und durch spanisch erleben will. Die Casa ist zentral gelegen und der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um die Altstadt zu Fuß zu erkunden - zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Bodega Tradición, der Zoo und die spanische Hofreitschule liegen, genau wie traditionelle Bars, Cafés und Restaurants, gleich "um die Ecke". Von der individuellen, freundlichen Athmosphäre im Haus waren wir ebenso begeistert wie von der Hilfsbereitschaft und den guten Tipps von Anja und Tilo - und nicht zuletzt hat unser Sohn Gabriel in eurem Lion einen tollen Spielkameraden gefunden - also war das zugleich mal Urlaub für Kind UND Eltern, auch ohne den ganzen Tag am Strand verbringen zu müssen. Rundherum ein individuelles, für die ganze Familie erholsames Urlaubserlebnis - für längere Ausflüge leider viel zu kurz. Aber wir kommen bestimmt wieder...

Came to Jerez to learn about wine - enchanted by the land, the people, the wine, the flamenco, the sun and the soil - and discovered the power and richness and love of YODO. It runs through all of the above, giving it a spirit and energy that becomes uniquely perceptible here in Jerez. Many thanks, for this, to our terrific hosts - Anja and Tilo were incredibly helpful and gracious - we were lost when we drove into town and Tilo went out of his way to meet us, drive us to this beautiful apartment, show us the highway arteries in and out, and made us feel generally at home. 	38) Adriana und Alfredo lived 14 days in El Arco, July 2009.	Hallo Besucher der „Freunde des Hauses“ Bezüglich der Gastfreundschaft von Anja und Tilo, gibt es wirklich nichts aus zusetzen. Sehr hilfsbereit in Rat, Tat und Tipps. Herzlicher Empfang von beiden. Trotz Tilos Parkplatzführung in der Umgebung des Hauses, habe ich mich erst mal verfahren müssen um mich in der Stadt mit dem Auto zu Recht zu finden… aber alles halb so schlimm. Die Wohnung liegt gut zu Fuß in die Altstadt und zu allen ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Ostern muss es besonders schön sein, (siehe You Tube). Von hier aus kann man zügig in alle umliegenden Städte gelangen, wie Cadiz, Chiclana de la Frontera, Vejer de la Frontera, Tarifa, Arcos de la Frontera, Sevilla, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Chipiona, etc. Da wir Argentiner sind, lag uns die Geschichte von Columbus und Magallanes sehr nahe, deswegen sind wir auch nach Palos de la Frontera gefahren, von wo aus Columbus zur Enddeckung Amerika los geschippert ist, (leider 190 Km) aber es lohnt sich. In Sachen W-Lan kann ich bestätigen dass es super funktioniert, da Tilo ein „Meister des PC’s“ ist. Habt viel Spaß Ps. Als Reiseführer empfehle ich den vom ADAC – Andalusien - (€ 8,90) Adriana und Alfredo vom 05.07.09- 19.07.09

Tilo and Anja gave us a warm welcome to the house and spent time to explain where we were located in the town. They also gave us a local map of the area marked with their personal recomendations to visit. The house was like an oasis as we entered from a traditional street in Jerez. The apartment 'El Arco' was as described on the website but still bigger than we imagined. It has been fantastic staying here as we made use of the beautiful garden to relax and enjoyed cooking at 'home' making use of fresh vegetables from the local market. We were here on our Honeymoon for one week and it was a ideal place to stay. We will definetely be comming back! Scott & Valerie

Within 30 - 45 minutes you can enjoy the beaches of Chipiona, drink a Manzanilla in Sanlucar de Barrameda or visit Cadiz. And last but not least: You stay in the beautiful historical centre of Jerez. 	33) Ekki from Switzerland was already the third time in our house. See apartments Al Frente, El Caracol, De la Madre, April 2009.	Ich war schon dreimal in der Casarosaleda und kenne das Frente, Caracol und Madre. Mein Favorit ist Madre wegen des direkten Zugangs zur Sonnenterrasse, aber auch die beiden anderen Appartments sind charmant. Nach Jerez komme ich häufiger, weil es hier eine Flugschule gibt. Der sprichwörtliche andalusische Sonnenschein macht Fliegen auf Sicht sehr viel einfacher als dies im nebligen Deutschland oder der Schweiz der Fall wäre. Mit dem bisweilen starken Wind hatte ich allerdings nicht gerechnet.. Anja und Tilo sind ausgezeichnete Gastgeber. Sie haben noch die deutsche Zuverlässigkeit und auch schon etwas von der spanischen Gelassenheit und Flexibilität. Meine Buchungen brauchten immer noch einen last minute twist, und sie haben mir auch spontan geholfen als es darum ging einen Makler zu finden, um einige Grundstücke in der Gegend anzuschauen. Solange wir vom eigenen Grundstück in Andalusien nur träumen, werden wir auch künftig wieder in der Casarosaleda wohnen. Vielen Dank Ekki

Dear Anja, Tilo and Lion (spunky monkey), We wanted to thank you for all the help you gave us when we came to stay at your lovely place, apartment Del Centro at Casa de Vecinos Rosaleda. Our little apartment was very cosy, it is self contained with everything you need to make your own meals, shower/toilet and a comfy bed! The apartment is very central to the main street of Jerez with access to the train station only about 15 minutes walk. A local baker supplied us with warm and very yummy bread rolls (life is good!) every morning. Local supermarket is only a 5 minute walk and has everything you need! We were in Jerez at the time of Semana Santa (Holy week)-a bright and exciting time of year-a wonderful experience that we kind of stumbled upon! An hour trip to Seville was well worth it-another beautiful city. Jerez is smaller but we felt it offered a true Spanish feel-just what we were looking for!!! Anja and Tilo helped us with setting up our wireless internet system, which included buying the right equipment to get us started! WiFi can be accessed from all areas. Nothing was ever a problem, they answered all our questions with heaps of helpful information about Jerez! They are wonderful to talk to, even just sharing information about our resepective home countries. They made the apartment feel more homely with their friendliness. And little Lion-he's a bright and cute addition to the family. We are very grateful for all their help and friendliness-it always makes a stay somewhere even more of a positive experience! Thank you. We hope to spend time here again in the future! This place offers peace and quiet but also a sense of community when you are so far from home (as in our case from Australia). Anja and Tilo have been perfect hosts, showing us their home and their love of Jerez. Our Los Arcos apartment was our base for life in Spain, and venturing out and exploring Jerez and Andalucia. Thanks to wireless LAN, I was able to do my job from the apartment, thanks to the well equiped kitchen, The house is quiet and quaint, combining architectural charm and modern convenience. I could shop and cook like a local, thanks to the lovely garden and terrace I was able to enjoy the sunshine and green both while working and relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone who truly wants to know southern Spain as a way of life, not just a tourist.

Samstag im September, auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Diese Veranstaltung findet in der Stierkampfarena von 22.00-4.00 Uhr statt und ist die Eröffnungsveranstaltung für 12 Tage Buleria de Jerez! Das Programm wird 10 Tage vor Beginn im Internet veröffentlicht.

Wir haben diesen Tip von Pferdefreunden bekommen und waren vom ersten Moment an begeistert. Die engagierte Kommunikation im Vorfeld, der offene Empfang bei der Ankunft und die herzliche Verabschiedung bei der Abreise geben einem das Gefühl von "Urlaub bei Freunden". Das Stadthaus ist eine liebevoll sanierte Perle im historischen Kern von Jerez, das seinen Charm beim Eintritt in den schönen blumigen Innenhof entfaltet. Das Casa Rosaleda und seine Appartments sind der perfekte Ausgangsort für einen traumhaften Urlaub. Von hier aus kann man die Stadt, die Küste, das Umland erkunden und freut sich dennoch jedesmal wenn man nach einem sonnigen, erlebnisreichen Tag die alte Tür zum blumigen Innenhof des Casa Rosaleda wieder öffnet. Wir haben bei Anja und Thilo im August 2008 im Apartment "de la madre" eine sehr erholsame und angenehme Woche verbracht. Anja und Thilo waren fantastische Gastgeber, standen uns zu jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und haben sich sogar noch die Zeit genommen, mit uns unter anderem ueber ihr Leben in Spanien zu plauschen. Das Haus ist schoen und ideal gelegen und der Innenhof mit Garten eine Oase der Erholung. Das Apartment ist sehr gemuetlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir werden die Casa Rosaleda jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Besonders toll ist die Lage (direkt in der Altstadt in der Nähe von z.B. Flamenco Zenter und Archäolgischem Museum). Es ist trotz dieser Lage total ruhig. Die Vermieter sind eine nette Familie, die jederzeit bei Fragen zur Verfügung steht und gute Tipps geben kann. Sollten wir nochmal nach Jerez de la Frontera reisen, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Situé dans une rue tranquille, dans une maison andalouse typique du quartier flamenco, en plein dans la vielle ville, c'est un appartement trés agréable d'où on peut tout faire à pied (services, visites et sorties). Présence discrète mais sympathique et efficace des propiétaires. Une excellente adresse.
